Hello here,
I'm discovering Calligra Words, after using OpenOffice/LibreOffice on a regular basis. What I miss in Words is to view where I put non-breaking spaces (Ctrl+Space); when setting View -> Show Formatting Characters, non-breaking spaces are shown as normal (breaking) characters, just a bullet. As it is used a lot in French, I would like to have the possibility to check them at a glance. In LibreOffice, non-breaking spaces are inserted with the key combination Ctrl+Shift+Space (complicated!) and are always visible (I really don't like) as spaces with grey background. What I would like to use in Words is just setting non-breaking spaces visible only when requested (Show Formatting Characters selected) as a space with grey background. Does this feature already exist in Words? Otherwise would it be possible to get it? Thank you in advance for your opinion. |
