Hi, I am looking for a scriptable linux spreadsheet and discovered Calligra sheets. Scripting seems to be more mature in sheets than in some other linux spreadsheets I've looked at, but I have a couple of questions.
1. I am interested in executing scripts using the script options under the Tools menu. I have found some example scripts, but can't get the script manager to add them. Could someone give me some guidence or point me to some documentation on how to do this? 2. I found the scripting handbook on the web but most of the links result in 404 not found messages. Is there another place the referenced files live? Thanks, Jim |

Can you please post the link to the scripting handbook you found?

Here is the link: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... _Scripting
It seems that all of the links to the python sample files result in 404 not found. cvsimport.py is one example. Regards, Jim |

That guide seems to be quite old. The new location should be http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=calligra.git ... ng/scripts in theory, however the *.py files are missing from there as well i'm afraid.
I'll have to leave this up to the Calligra Sheets developers to answer - based upon the content of that directory I suspect only QML/JS based scripting is supported now (but I could be wrong).
