I'm a big fan of Calligra and hope it continues to move forward. I also use Libre Office and the new capability for it is the basis for my question. Can Calligra import or export Visio drawings, or DIA for that matter? It would be great if it could, but there may be other priorities. Perhaps the team could use some open source code from Libre? It should go on the wish list, but in the meantime I would appreciate an answer to my question about whether it can.

There is visio import, based on libvisio which is also used by LibreOffice.
