I already have Calligra, and really like it. Today I tried to install the latest update (2.6.2). It seemed like it was installing with no problem, but then the installation stopped and I got this message:

"The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Calligra\share\mime\inode. The installation cannot continue. Logon as administrator or contact your system administrator."

I am already logged on as system administrator, but still the installation won't continue, and I still keep getting this message. What am I doing wrong? Admittedly, I am not a tecchie, so I wouldn't be surprized if the answer is something simple.

I would appreciate your help.

In case I can't proceed with the installation of the full suite, is there a url where I can download Calligra Author for Windows 7? I am an author, and not only would I like to use this program, but also want to introduce another author friend to it...

Could this be caused by UAC possibly? Try running the Calligra Suite installer as an Administrator (by right clicking on it > Run as Administrator).
