I'm using Calligra-Words version 2.6.3.

I cannot find a way to import an svg image.
Words can only import raster images (png, jpg, etc.) and also vector images (but not odg or svg).

I was able to import an svg image by typing in the filename (Words won't show the file in its open file dialog), but the resulting image looks terrible in Words. It looks more like a raster image that has been rescaled, the fonts and lines in the image are not sharp and looks ugly. :(

Is there an other way to import svg images in Words?

You can try to open it in Karbon and copy it to Words.
