Please look at the /sheets/plugins/scripting/scripts/ folder in Calligra sources.

Each script has some documentation and hints about debugging in it.

It's a pity that some of them do not work now (e.g. XMLViewer). It seems that a minor tweaking needed but it's beyond of my minor knowledge. :'(

Please ask if you want to know something specific.

Thanks, I found them but in a slightly different location. I've seen most of them before on the web. They have some comments but not much in the way of real documentation. I have found some info on the web like the Kspread Scripting handbook. Many of the links are now dead but there were a few that led to some bare bones documentation.

I have also found some examples. Many of them did not work, at first but I managed to get most of them to work.

What I need to be able to do is to move to a specific cell location and write some data then move to another location and write some data, etc. Seems to me to be something a scripting enviorment would provide but after spending a lot of time going over what docs I could find, I still don't know how to do it. I figured out how to write data to whatever cell I want but I cannot actually set that cell as the active one.

I've been looking for a python scriptable spreadsheet for awhile. OpenOffice and Gnumeric say they offer python scripting but Calligra Sheets seems to have the most complete implementaion. The problem is the docs are so spares.

Thanks for any help you can give.
