I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I have just started using Calligra Flow on Mageia as a repacement for my Windows box with Visio, as I wanted to create a Home Network diagram. Well I have successfully created a diagram of my network, but for the life of me I cannot see anywhere in Flow to be able to add text to name the elements of my diagram. And, more importantly, there does not seem to be any help for Flow whatsoever - or that I could find. In Flow I select "Help" and then "Flow Handbook" where I am taken to this page : http://userbase.kde.org/Flow which contains a single image of a Flow Chart and some links below that. I select the "The Home Page of Flow" link and get to here: http://www.calligra.org/flow/. This page also contains a single image of a flow diagram and not much else. So, where is this mysterious handbook? Am I missing something??

Settings->Dockers->Add Shape or Stencil Box, both dockers have the "Text" shape. In the Stencil Box enter 'text' into the search bar to find it.
There is no handbook any more, calligra devels decided to use the wiki for documentation. But apparently no one stepped up to write it. |

Thanks for that Lueck, I was thinking it would be a little more obvious. I found the "Artistic Text" was the only one that worked. But after mucking around a bit, I finally worked how to get the default font-size of 20 to decrease to fit my objects. So all good.
Bummer about the handbook/wiki. |
