I'm trying to figure out how to enter a string of data separated by spaces into a row of cells in Sheets. In LibreOffice Calc, I'm able to do this by using the special paste feature (Ctrl+Shift+V). Pasting the normal way puts all of the data into the first cell; using special paste puts the data into separate cells using the spaces as delineators. In Sheets, I'm only able to paste the data the first of those two ways. Is there a way to paste data the second way? I have to be able to do this automatically because I'm working with some 63,000 pieces of data and counting.
Here's an example of a string of data I'd need to enter in this way: This data should be inserted into 12 separate cells ("11-13" is a single piece of data). |
