Is there a way to use page numbers in Calligra - additionally, what about starting page numbers later in the document (IE, first page is title, second is contents, third is summary, and 4th page is actually page 1 of the content)
Tips would be great |

Hi Tracim,
Page numbers are easy to use but perhaps not so easy to find. In the toolbox in the sidebar, go to the "text editing" tab. It is probably the top one. At the bottom you will see the heading "Insert" and a menu called "variable". Select "Page number" and you are done. If you want to put it in the header, or footer, just go to the Page Layout tab and press the "Create header" or footer button and you are done there too. Regarding your second question, I'm not sure that that is possible. I know that the Open Document Format allows it but I'm not sure if calligra words have support for setting that option yet. |

One thing on that - I tried that but it seems all I got was the same number on each page. IE, I chose insert variable page number and each page was numbered 1. How do I avoid that?
Thanks. |

You should definitely not get the same page number on all pages. If you do it's a bug and it needs to be fixed. Could you register a bug for calligrawords on bugs.kde.org and attach a small test document to it? I'll try to look at it asap.
