I'm using Krita 2.8.5, and Atom 0.189.0, on Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit).
If you don't know, Atom is a text/code editor, built on top of Node.js and a fork of Chromium. See <https://atom.io> In Krita, I'm able to copy and paste layers and vector objects as normal. And I can copy-paste text from gedit just fine. So far, I've only noticed a problem when I copy text from Atom to paste into a Krita document -- then Krita freezes, every time. If I try to copy text from Atom before starting Krita, Krita gets stuck just after the splash screen, and never finishes loading the application. Having any data in the clipboard coming from Atom seems to cause Krita to crash. Here's the terminal output when this happens:

I thought the problem was some kind of weird interaction between Atom and Krita, but turns out there was a bug in Atom that wouldn't let it copy/paste in any third-party applications. That bug has been fixed.
