I am trying to type Myanmar Unicode in Calligra.
Distros in these days have Noto San Myanmar font preinstalled for Myanmar Unicode which is perfect in Libreoffice. But not in Calligra Office suite. Eg.. Myamar Font are like this မင်္ဂလာပါ... မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ကြိုဆိုပါ၏ . In Calligra Office, I cann't type some vowels, Font will appear something like this မငလာပါ... မြနမာနိုငငံမှ ကြိုဆိုပါ၏ . So is there any help for me. |

Hi, two checks can be useful. Are you able to use other fonts properly? Are you able to use the Noto San Myanmar font in other Qt applications such as Kate?
Also what's your exact OS version. |

1. Yes, I can use other font properly at least Eng fonts.
2. Yes, I can use Noto San Myanmar font properly in Kate and Kwrite (I just neet to shange select font) but not perfect. Eg... အင်္ကျီ appears အင်္ကီ ျ .... OS is ArchLinux + Plasma 5 |

These are both Qt 5 applications, and I think font management has been updated. What about a Qt 4 application, such as KMail or Rekonq ? Louis |

Yes, KMail has same problem as Kate and Kwrite have. Kinqueror can't print correct charactors completely as in Calligra.

I didn't realize KMail had already been ported to Qt 5 ! Looks like it's a problem in Qt 4's text rendering, which won't be solved until Calligra switches to Qt 5. |

OK @duyinthee you can report the issue at bugs.kde.org anyway, the resolution is probably "will be fixed in Calligra 3".
