I've enjoyed Calligra a lot, but I am having a little problem that pratically invalidates Calligra for me. It's the page break in Calligra Words/Author.

I've created another page layout style, I've used the page break in order to create two "sections" of pages, but when I change the page style of a "section", the other section is changed too, then my two sections have the same style while I want the opposite!

Can you help me? I use Calligra 2.8.7.



Apropos, what's the actual difference between Calligra Words and Calligra Author? I can't see the difference.

Hi there really isn't any difference between author and words - and in 3.0 author will be gone again. It was created with the intend of making a more author-centric approach but the person who had this vision is no longer with calligra

As for sections - I have to be honest that part of the ui is not working very well and even the underlying logic migt have bugs and such. For now I would suggest that you set up your sections using for example libreoffice. I know it can be done in calligra want you ask - as i've done it myself in the past while trying to iron out bugs - but really I would advice against using this part of words right now.
