Hi everyone!
I want to install Calligra Suite on Windows 10 so I can test it, but in the "Get Calligra" section of calligra.org, when I choose "For MS Windows" sinply there isn´t that option, so, my question is: How can I install Calligra Suite on Windows 10? Thank you all. |

As far as I know there are no official windows-binaries for the recent 3.x versions at the moment.
You will probably find some older binaries somewhere else on the internet, which may not include all applications of the suite or differ a lot from the current version. I've heard that there is some kind of Ubuntu-subsystem that can be enabled on windows 10. If it is possible to get this work with GUI-applications (especially Qt-based ones) in general, this could offer a possibiliy to install and run the Ubuntu-version of Calligra on your system. Another option would be to build Calligra, instructions for windows can be found here: https://community.kde.org/Calligra/Buil ... on_Windows However, some parts of these instructions don't seem to be up-to-date or work in progress, so the build will probably not be successful. The current version of Calligra uses Qt 5 and KDE Frameworks 5. At some places of these instructions kde4 and Qt 4 are mentioned, those parts may not work anymore for the current codebase. |

There are indeed no official Windows packages of the 3.x series. However, i've previously built some Calligra Gemini packages, and while that might not be quite what you're after, they do exist. I need to roll some new ones, though, as there's been a fair bit of work done since then. Also hopefully we'll be able to get a new release of the full suite out in the not too distant future as well, for which i hope to have a full installer for the suite for Windows, not only Gemini.
Finally, it is worth noting, in addition to what sebpe mentions above, that Craft is how most of the applications and tools KDE produces are built on Windows these days. There is currently no blueprint for Calligra, however this will need changing anyway (and, indeed, i am using Craft to build the previously mentioned Gemini packages, but for various reasons just have not submitted the blueprint yet - this will, however, happen in the not too distant future as well)

Hi everyone,
Do you guys know where is the Calligra package to download and install on Windows platform? I am using windows 7. It does not matter if it is an old version or not. Ideally, the 3.x series would be the desired one but I know that there is only the availability, as of now, from the 2.x.x branches. Also, do you guys know if there is the possibility to access a portable package? (.zip or .7z) Where can we only extract and run the binaries? Any information is helpful. Thank you! |

Maybe those are interesting for you:
https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Call ... tly_win64/ https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Call ... tly_win32/ Please note that those are nightly builds and not stable releases. I don't have a WIndows system to try them out, so I can't share any experiences with them. leinir can probably tell you more about it. Besides there are also some 2.9.6 packages on third party download sites (maybe you already found those). |
