I am UI/UX Student. I have switched to linux few months ago completely. And I find their is not a single application for UI designing in linux. Inkscape and Karbon both doesn't have common features for fast workflow for UI designing. Their is increasing no of UI/UX designing tools in mac and windows.

Ui/UX tools are trends in design world. https://uxtools.co/survey-2018 Popularity of these tools are increasing over illustrator.

It will be awesome to give Karbon a new direction as full UI/UX design tool. It will increase the UI/UX designers user base in linux world.

Probably Qt Designer is worth a look too, it's a tool not just for Mockups but creating actual user interfaces.

Hi everyone! New here! I really like the Calligra package for many reasons. The UI feels modern and smart while the apps have loads of practical functions while being flexible and customizable. I have been thinking about this with UI/UX design too, since it's something I'm doing a lot.

I have been using Flow (https://kde.org/applications/office/org.kde.calligraflow) quite a bit, which has worked well. Perhaps with a some new UI/UX-focused stencils (perhaps adapted from Pencil Project , another good - though less flexible - program) Flow could be an even better tool of this kind.

Something that would be really awesome would be a combination of Words, Flow and Karbon made for quick design and publishing work. Something a bit like Gravit Designer, Affinity Designer or Sketch. I'd love a free and open source program like that, but I understand it would be a lot of work. Much is already implemented in the already very powerful Calligra suite though. Using Flow and Karbon definitely lets me do lots of nice design work.
