sorry for the late reply, it depends on how you want to view it. If you want to have the moving gif shown besides other content, I personally don't know how to do it.

If it is fine for you if the gif is playing fullscreen, you can click on add video via the add shape docker, then click on the slide or drag a rectangle and then select the gif-file as the video in the appearing dialog. However at least for me the "gif-video" paused automatically after the first frame when clicking on it during the presentation.

In case you have trouble with that pausing too, converting the gif to an actual video worked better for me. https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... mmand-line contains some information about converting gifs to videos. Please note that it may be necessary to convert to e.g. webm instead of mp4 if mp4-files are not shown in the file selection dialog.
