Words Start Page

When I start Words, it shows Recent Documents as the start page. Can I change that to a blank new document as the start page?

Hi,

on the left of the new document page below the recent documents entry there is a category for empty documents. If you click on that you will be presented a list of templates for empty documents. Choose the one you would like to have as default (probably the first one) and on the right of the window set the checkbox to always use that template.

The next time you start Words, it should display an empty document.

If you want to revert this setting, you can go to File->New or press CTRL+N which will show the same dialog window you had on startup initially. There you can uncheck the checkbox for using the template as default, if you want.
