KIG Python question

How do I access the python scripting option in KIG (Ubuntu 12.04)? I cannot anything in the fora that tells me what i have to install. I have python installed as well as the latest version of KIG.

I see the documentation on *how* to use it. What I don't have is a *way* to use it from Kig: I cannot see the python-scripting option as indicated in the documentatio - under Object -> Other

Is there a specific library I have to install using apt-get?

I would suggest making sure that kde4-python or which ever equivalent package is required is installed as a first step.
