I have used the old Ktouch layout in the past, and it seemed intuitive. I am having trouble adapting to the new interface. I want to learn the Dvorak keyboard layout using Ktouch. So, I went to Configure Keyboards > Layouts, and then altered the layout to English (Dvorak). The lessons are still in Qwerty. I have no idea how to change them. I have searched the internet, but can only find instructions for the old way of doing it. Please help.

Hmm, this shouldn't happen.
Did restarting KTouch help, and can you reproduce this under a new user (just to ensure your previous use of KTouch isn't creating an issue)?

Restarting doesn't have any effect, and I get the same response with another user. I assumed that I am simply unfamiliar with the interface, because there is no error, and regardless of what I do; I simply cannot get it to display a Dvorak keyboard layout.

Okay, in this case I believe you may have run into a bug - i'd advise filing a bug report at bugs.kde.org.
