I get this remark every time when I try to connect my Canon 450D.
I use the Ekos Tool in Kstars. Gphoto_ccd is installed so what is wrong ? I connect via USB cable delivered with the camera, which connects fine in windows. Thank you, Eddy |

This is actually not an answer, but a comment with a question: I have found with Neon KDE Linux 5.13, that I can connect my professional Nikon Df and it opens it well (I power on the camera first, then plug in the USB cable). First a notification, then through File Manager, where I can what I want. So that was the positive comment. My question is: why does this no longer work with Neon KDE Linux 5.14? (I have checked on two different PCs, both have changed after the update from 5.13 to 5.14.) The message is: "The process ended unexpectedly", right after File Manager tries to open it. I hope that if this is generally the case with Neon 5.14, that there is an issue with camera USB connection to it, that it is picked up by a developer and fixed by 5.15 or before. Otherwise, I have to say: KDE Neon is definitely the best Linux!
