Hi guys
New to the forum and hoping I`m posting in the right place .
I`m using Kubuntu 14.10 64bit and just installed the latest Kstars-bleeding for my observatory with full telescope control via Ekos and I`m trying to download extra catalogues but clicking on the Data/Download New Data button I just get the error message -
`Loading of providers from file:http://edu.kde.org/kstars/downloads/providers/.xml failed`
Looking over a few forums it does seem to have been a common bug and I`m wondering if anyone has managed to solve this please?.
I gather from guys on the Indilib forum that this and a few other problems may be solved with Ubuntu 15.04 around April time but it would be great if I could sort it before then
