I have loaded both KDE neon and Feren OS (now with KDE Desktop) on my Galago Pro 2. In both Kmines and Kmahjongg (both missing from the application list), I have video dropouts. I do not have this problem with non-KDE desktops. And I do not have the problem on my Kudu 3, also by System76. Any idea what the problem is? I have updated my Mesa drivers and also my kernel, with some slight improvement but not a fix. I'm assuming the problem is between the Galago Pro's video and KDE Desktop, but why only when using a KDE game on a Plasma desktop? I play one other KDE game, Knetwalk, and do not have the issue, and have not had the issue with other non-KDE programs.

I think this used to be called Gnome Mines but it was changed because it was too similar to gnomine.

Kmines is much better than Gnome Mines or gnomines. Likewise, Kmahjongg is considerably better than any of the other mahjonggs, etc.
BTW, whatever the problem was, it was only in Feren OS and neon for a while. |
