Problems with Kwallet after crash

Wed Jul 29, 2009 12:16 pm
Hi,
I am using Kwallet for password storage. After a crash, Kwallet asks for a password in order to use it. I never had a password set, so this is a problem. I guess some configs got mixed up with in the wallet-file (I use to wallet and only one asks for the password.) Any idea how to fix it?

Try using a blank password. Worst case scenario is that your wallet has been corrupted.

I did that already. Does not work. I fear the worst case scenario :-(

You may wish to ask in #kde-devel on Freenode or kde-devel@kde.org since the KWallet developers may be able to help you further.

Unfortunately, I do not know much about KWallet, or if it is possible to correct the problem.
