Hall of fame or highest score engine

Thu Oct 01, 2009 11:34 pm
I don't know if i should write here or at brainstorm.

The idea just came when read this blog http://hobbyblobby.wordpress.com/2009/1 ... oredialog/

My idea is to have something like generic engine for collecting hall of fame or highest score for every game user playing.

Then user can show it off using a plasmoid or too his/her friends.
May be somebody can have better use case from this idea :)

Thanks, mobilehunter :)

We already have some ideas similar to this and some additional too.
In fact all of kdegames' highscores system need rethinking, so we contstantly are collecting some ideas, but unfortunately no one had found time to actually start implementing them...

Let's hope this will change in future.

IIRC someone suggested working on highscores on our mailing list, so this situation might change :)

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know", Alice answered. "Then", said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
