I'm working on KDE game kbattleship thus far I have make some good changes to the game. I want to add some components to the gui. If you have experiences kbattleship you may see that only action that is available to the player is shooting at one cell each time. I want to customize this and enhance the players ability to attack at opponents. As I heard this games GUI is handled by QT and KDE game libries like kgamecanvas. Can some body help me with adding my new gui components. I'm not provide with a architectural design document or uml diagram either code is not commented also. Only tool that available to me is debugging code which is almsot consist of 36 source files. If some one who is being in extending kbattleship could provide me with some guidelines it will make my life so easy. o)

You may find that the developers of KBattleShip itself will be able to point you in a better direction... but KDE applications usually use the XMLGUI framework, which consists of editing a *ui.rc file to contain the needed actions, and then adding that action to the "action collection" in the application source code.
