i am creating a dvorak german type II layout in ktouch (for my students) an i have difficulties assigning the right index fingers to the other keys.. i klick on select fingerkey and then the indexfinger-key - everything seems to work fine.. but everything is lost when i save and reload...

in the xml file the indexfingerkey="45" or something else.. i thought we only have 10 fingers ^^

is this just a bug or have i somehow completely messed up my xml file so ktouch stopps working with it??

oke... maybe its a bug in the layout creator.. i still don't know

i hacked the xml file and arranged all of the 8 index fingers on the beginning of the file.. the first line (that defines the letter "A" as indexfinger) now get the number 0 the second ("O") the number 1 and so on.. everything works fine now..

the keyboard layout (and a dvorak lession i am still working on) can be downloaded here:(when im ready with the lesson it will (hopefully) be integrated in the next release of ktouch !

i updated the keyboard.xml and the ktouch.xml (for the lecture) everything seems to work great. i think the dvorak lecture is quite good... (though i will improve it - thats for sure)

can anybody tell me how to contact the ktouch devs so i can send them the xml files for the next release? maybe kde4.5 ??
