I have two questions regarding servicemenu submenus:
1. How can I assign an icon to a submenu (X-KDE-Submenu, no matter if that menu is located in Actions or toplevel)? "Bare" menus don't look so nice between entries with icons and icons, as we all know, help identify something and grab it visually faster (if not we all had iconless desktops ). 2. How can I create a submenu inside of a X-KDE-Submenu submenu? |

Thanks for the link but my questions are not covered there. Not all servicemenu options are listed there so it might not automatically mean it is not possible.

For 1) try adding "Icon=<icon name>" to the [Desktop Entry] section.
For 2) I believe that isn't possible, you may wish to ask in #kde-devel on Freenode though, since it very well may be supported by the internals, but never documented.

Thanks for your further answer.
That doesn't work alas... The icon in [Desktop Entry] only sets the icon for the file itself. |

Unfortunate... you will probably wish to ask in #kde-devel in this case, although it probably isn't possible...
