Kate crashes when started with krunner

sonay Registered Member Posts 54 Karma 0 OS	Kate crashes when started with krunner Fri Dec 03, 2010 11:27 pm I tried to read a .txt file that a friend sent and Kate crashed. Since then, I couldn't start Kate normally via Krunner or KDE menu. However it runs perfectly when started from the Konsole. I tried deleting some config. files, however that didn't work as well. Any ideas or should I send the bug report? (I am running KDE 4.5.4)

I deleted the file before which didn't work. however logging out and in back solved the problem. I don't know what went wrong and possibly I can't reproduce.
