Hi,
My 9 month old son is very interested in "daddy's" computer activities. I have been letting him pound the keys since he was born. Now I want to know if you have any recommendations for very simple, colorful games with action which might be good for an enthusiastic baby. I've looked around with apt://search?, but haven't found anythind for very young child. Any ideas? Thanks, amenditman

Ktuberling comes to my mind. You can even set it to fullscreen. Hope that helps.

Not KDE, but Gcompris is a good choice! The young children I've seen playing with it loves it! (starting with kids from about one years of age). When he's more adept with a mouse, Tuxpaint usually is a hit too!

A few names that just come into my mind (some already said above), maybe some are not really for so-young kids:
- Tuxpaint (http://www.tuxpaint.org): painting and drawing in creative way - GCompris (http://gcompris.net/-en- ): a multi activity educational suite - KTuberling (shipped with KDE Games) - Circus Linux (http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/circus-linux/ ): a sort of "arkanoic" for kids - Ri-li (http://ri-li.sourceforge.net): a wooden train to be driven into a path

Thanks for the ideas.
He will enjoy some of these and others he will need to grow into. He is just connecting the mouse with the pointer on screen and fascinated by it. Some of these will let him play with the mouse. Thank You Amenditman
