Hi!

what are the requirements for cantor displaying images from the sage-backend? i couldn't figure them out, it always displays only an empty line from any plot-command.

i am on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, KDE 4.4.5, Cantor 0.1, sage 4.6

Thanks!

there shouldn't be any special requirements to display images in sage (they are normal png/jpg files). So maybe you hit a bug.
Could you:
1) try to remove your .sage/temp directory (that did the trick for me sometimes)
2) create a bug report on bugs.kde.org that contains a complete log of cantors output,
to create that log:
- run kdebugdialog and enable anything with cantor in its name
- start cantor from the command line e.g. with "cantor --backend=sage &> cantor.log"
- attach the cantor.log to the bug report

thanks

Hi,

thanks for the reply.

i have done 1) which doesn't help. I then created the logfile and created a bug on bugs.kde.org. Btw. the image itself was created (it is in the temp-directory) but it seems cantor doesn't tries to read it.
