Hi all,
first thanks for this amazing software, after trying other ones avaible under linux, I decide to use Skrooge for my day to day home financial automation ![]() So, I'm not sure if it is possible to do mass split operation ![]() I have first imported from CSV a list of operations, assigned to an account and categorie. Now I would like to split a recurent operation to two different categories, so apply the same split operation in all of these recurent operation, by mass selecting. I have try the search and apply functionality but the split menu is unavaible when selecting multiple operation. Do I need to do this by using the merge operation? is there a other way to do that? Many thanks for your help. Regs, Akoola ps: Im' using the french UI translation. |

Hi,
There is no way to split massively operations. If you describe in detail what you want to do, I will think about. You can do it in french on my email (you can find it in the about of Skrooge) if you prefer. |

Hello,
thanks for your reply, here is an exemple of wath I would like to do 1) I create an operation, assigned a payee and a categorie, I also program this each month because is a monthly recuring payement. 2) I split the operation under two different categories. 80% and 20%, so now for the next scheduled operation I have the right split.. 3) I import from my bank account all of my operation from 2010, in these imported operation I have the operation i created before, same amount, each month. 4) so now I have this operation, in the past, and not splitted. I would like to make a quick search on the payee ( for example) and would like to mass split all of these same operations. hope this make sens. I can drop you an e-mail of course and thanks again for your help and... software... Akoola
