Income and Expenditure on Dashboard Screen

Hi,

Can I start by saying how much I love Skrooge. It is the main reason why I swapped from Microsoft Windows after they dropped support for Microsoft Money. There seems to be a distinct shortage of personal finance packages for Windows.

My query is regarding the Income and Expenditure totals on the Dashboard. Why when I transfer money from one account to another why does this count as income. For instance I have my bank account and a wallet account for cash. I transfer £30 from my bank account to my wallet and this appears as income on the dashboard which is surely not right? Am I right in suggesting that transfers should be excluded from the income and expenditure totals?

Kind regards

Hi,

This is feasible by using the option in the contextual menu (right click) on the "Income and Expenditure" widget.

Thank you for using skrooge.

Regards,
Stephane

Dear Stephane,

Is there any way of saving the setting because each time I exit the Dashboard screen and go back I have to un-tick transfers again.

Best wishes

Yes, like for all pages, you just have to click on the small save icon on the tab of the page (not the document one).
