I am a happy user of KMyMoney, but I'm quite interested with the graphs possibility of Skrooge and I'm also attracted by the statement that Skrooge is more for Personal use instead of small businesses like KMyMoney.
I've imported my .kmy file into Skrooge to see if the data is usable and to test the possibilities of the software. It seems that all imported Categories have a "Expenses" and "Revenue" as a parent category in front of them. It seems (to my understanding) that it is not the way Skrooge deals with Categories (seeing that the default categories don't have those parents). Is there a way to "massively" remove this parent from all Categories? Thank you. PS: I have tested that on Windows so Skrooge version is a little bit outdated (1.2.0). |

Yes you can do it simply using "Drag n' Drop" : Select all those categories under "Expenses" and drop them below the latest category in your list, they will become "top level categories". Do the same with revenues and you're done
![]() Yes I know the skrooge version on windows is quite outdated... Need to find some time and try helping the KDE on Windows on that ![]()
