I observe very poor performance of Skrooge 1.6 on Windows XP 32?
Most actions e.g. add/remove operation takes a few seconds ~11-10. It's unacceptable for everyday usage. The data file is about 1MB. There are 15 account, about 40 categories, budget for all of them for current year. Without budget being defined operations I mentioned takes ~1-2 seconds - It's acceptable but irritating. Seems that each time and action is performed related to operations budget is recalculated, and now when it's needed or done by background thread. Is it a know issue ? Is it fixed/improved in 1.7.1 ? |

As you can see, in change log (https://projects.kde.org/projects/extra ... /CHANGELOG) many corrections have been done after the 1.6.0 version.

Yes I have seen that there are a lot of improvements. 1.7.x windows version is still missing
![]() Can you provide rough estimate when 1.7.x will be available on Windows ? Or who should I ask for it ? Or point to the instruction how to build newest release on Windows ? Thanks |

While not Skrooge specific, I suggest you look at http://techbase.kde.org/Getting_Started ... ows/emerge for more information.
