Open with last used file not working.

Thu Dec 19, 2013 12:21 pm
Skrooge 1.7.1. KDE dev.4.8.5. running on Linux mint 13.
I have successfully move from a very old Quicken edition to Skrooge.
The problem I have is there is a splash screen at the start with the dashboard showing instead of the last used file.
Both options are cleared/selected in the settings.
Is there a way around this?

"Open last file on startup" must be enabled.
Is it the case?

What are the both options cleared/selected in the settings?

Hello,
Thank you for your quick reply.

The "show splash" box is clear.
The "open last file on startup" is checked.

The last opened file should be opened automatically next time Skrooge is started.
If this is not the case, could you do that?
1-export SKGTRACE=100
2-skrooge --nofork > t.txt 2>&1
3-Close skrooge
4-Send me by email t.txt (my name is Stephane MANKOWKI and my email is in the "About" of Skrooge).

Regards.

Thank you for the crash report.
This bug is known and corrected on Skrooge 1.8.0.

If you are on ubuntu, you can install this version from my ppa:

The ppa install only installs Oubuntu 1.7.1 on my system.

Linux mint 13 seems to be too old for Skrooge 1.8.0.

To avoid the crash, you just have to close the open "Operation" pages before closing Skrooge.
