Using KDE for Windows the version of Skrooge is always behind.
May I humbly suggest to devs that it would be really useful to enable a settings option that keeps the Linux version in step with the Windows version. EG Skrooge 1.8 in Ubuntu is not working with the latest KDE for Windows. And/or vice versa.
Reasons:
1..Users who use dual systems, or maybe at home Ubuntu, at work Windows
2..Users who move from Windows to Ubuntu
3..Users (like me) who have dual boot and work sometimes in Windows and other times in Ubuntu; and I would like to be able to tell my Windows user friends to use Skrooge, but since they need my help I cant help them with their books at the moment due this incompatibility.
4..and so on.....

Thanks kindly.
Alistair.
