data version

Sun Jan 04, 2015 8:42 pm
Hi,

I am using skrooge on different distro which uses different version of skrooge.
As version are not compatible downward (meaning I open with version 1.10 and then can use the data file with 1.9).
I would like to hold data version (meaning 1.10 can read 1.9) without upgrading data version.
Is that possible ? It is is very annoying problem. What how come this very minor version upgrade not beeing compatible ?

Also I use it for years but I still have all my data in one file.
Is it possible to archive past year (keeping current file for 1 yead only) ?

Thanks,
