Hi there,

I've seen that when you modify a transactions of a closed account, at the edit pannel the account suggested is not the right one. If you aren't aware of that you can move the transaction from the right account to another:

I know I am not supposed to modify transactions from closed account, but sometimes it is necesary (if you find an error on payees, for example) and if you don't do it carefully, you can make a good mess.

Hello,

You do the same correction on master branch:
http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=skrooge.git& ... 9dc5883a1e

and release it at 1.12.5 in your ppa.

Right ?

Wrong.

This is not the same correction.
This one is only of kf5 branch and for "Account" field.

So the correction is only in the kf5 branch? And the 1.12.5 release has no any modification about it? That's weird because I've updated today to 1.12.5 and the behavior is not the same I saw before :o

So, as I said, this is not the same correction.
This correction is applied ONLY on kf5 branch.

@JesusM: I don't understand the behavior is not the same for you. What is the new behavior?

It's strange. First time I click on a transaction from a closed account, the account in the details pannel is wrong (as shown in the snapshoot I posted few days ago), but if I click again now the account is the right one ... I don't undertand it :o

This is normal. This is the bug.

In fact, the closed account is not in the list of account because closed.
When you select an operation from a closed account:
1-Skrooge tries to select the corresponding account in the list, but the account is not there. ==> selection impossible :-(
2-Skrooge updates the list of accounts to add closed account

When you select an operation from a closed account the second time:
1-Skrooge selects the corresponding account in the list :-)

This was a bug. Corrected on KF5 version of skrooge

Maybe I didn't see that detail first time I saw the bug. Thanks for the clarification.

And about kf5 train ... when do you think you will have an stable version?

Thanks

The KF5 version of Skrooge is already stable.
We will publish it as 2.0.0 version this week-end.
