Hi.
I would like to create simple "if payee=x then category=y" rules for my CSV imported operations. I have already pretty long list of such rules in a simple format from my previous financial application, so I'd like to convert those to Skrooge rules. I'd happily create a script and generate some configuration file of rules or such. But I wasn't able to find the rule I created in any Skrooge configuration file - (I looked into ~/.skrooge, ~/.kde4/share/config/skroogerc, ~/.kde4/share/apps/skrooge/). So where does Skrooge hold these rules? |

Hi,
The rules are stored in your .skg file. There is no way to import rules from csv file. If you send me by email (you can find mail email in the "about" of skrooge an example of csv file, I can plan this new feature in skrooge. |

Yes please, for the import feature
I'll test using Skrooge a bit more and then compose the list and send it to you, thanks. |

Also, it would be very useful to have some checkbox like "Use as default category for this payee" when changing category of an operation. Those relations could then be managed from both Categories and Payees pages.
What do you guys think? |

BTW, I just discovered that in KMyMoney payees can be assigned a default category.

Hi,
I added a new function to import csv file containing rules (payee=xxx => category=yyy). Regards. |
