Ghost Payee

Sat Aug 15, 2015 4:46 pm
Hi there!

Time to time I use to make a clean up of payees, categories, etc. Today was my daughter place and I tried to delete all payees referring to her but one.

The way is simple:

1. Filter payees by some key word
2. Open operations for the payees I want to change
3. Change old payees into new one.

But after doing that there is one payee that doesn't want to be deleted. Two pictures:

first one shows the payees filtered by the word I wanted. You can see that the two remaining payess show some cummulated amount, so I can think bith of them have transactions assigned,

but ...second one shows that no transactions are associated with 'Pagas Marta'.

so I wonder ... do I have some 'lost transactions'? is there any way to check the consistency of payees table?

Thanks!

Hi,

This is because you have a "template" operation referencing this payee.

Regards.
