I think I already know the answer to this question, but thought I'd ask anyway.
I have a laptop with elementary Freya (0.3.2) installed. Is it possible to get a 2.x version of Skrooge running on it? Since Freya is based on the 14.04 LTS of Ubuntu and the Skrooge PPA does not offer 2.x packages for Trusty, it seems impossible unless I do a whole lot of compiling on my own, or I set up a VM with something Qt5/KF5-compatible. Considering all the work that's gone into Skrooge 2.x since 1.x was deprecated, 14.04 users are really missing out! |

No, this is not possible because prerequisites are missing on ubuntu 14.04 to build skrooge 2.x.
