Hi,
It looks like I am the only user of Skrooge on Fedora. Skrooge kf5 is not even available and probably will never be made available. Bug reports has been filed many months ago but maintainer isn't willing to work on it due to lack of time. Skrooge 1.11.0 kept crashing on Fedora 23. Luckily there was a version 1.12.5 hanging around unattended in experimental repo which works. sqlcipher is not available on Fedora. I am a little scared of using Skrooge as my choice of distribution will not be able to provide the latest updates or even stable experience. Is there an easy way to get kf5 version of Skrooge on Fedora? Thanks. |

Hi, I am not on Fedora, so I am not sure that I can help you but, as main developer of Skrooge, I will try. Could you try this from a console?
and send me the file traces.txt.
Be aware that sqlcipher is the default option but Skrooge can be build with sqlite instead of sqlcipher just by using an option during build (see README file).
You can try to build it by yourself (see README file in git repository).

That's the bug I reported in Fedora Bugzilla. I have already upgraded to 1.12.5 and it seems to work fine. I wish they would upgrade it to the latest stable kf5 version. |
