Cannot add property to operations

Wed Jan 20, 2016 12:39 pm
Hi all,
after upgrading to 1.12.5 (but the same was true for previous versions) I cannot add any property to an operation. Apparently every operation, pointed or not, cannot be subjected to properties: the property menu is always empty in the right-click context menu.
I suspect I'm missing something, but reading the manual I cannot understand what I'm doing wrong.
Any idea?

Hi,

The "Add property" context menu is a convenient way to create properties.
In this menu, you can find the most used properties.
It means that you must first create properties on operations by using the "Properties" dock.

Uhm...I'm unable to add properties in the property panel since the editor within the panel is disabled.
I can search within the panel (but of course, I have nothing defined yet), but the property name and content in the panel at the bottom are not editable.
Am I doing something wrong?

Apparently I was wrong, I thougth the panel dock was used to edit "general" properties, while it has to be attached to some operation or other entity.
Sorry for the noise.
