No Reconciliation Mode

Sat Sep 17, 2016 12:17 am
I'm using Skrooge version 1.12.5 from the repo:
ppa:s-mankowski/ppa
under Linux Mint 17.2

From the Operations page I click the "Switch information" button (the purple arrow) which, according to the documentation, should cycle the reconciliation view. However, I only ever toggle between the normal one (Balance, Checked, To be Checked) and a Selection:none view.

I don't see anyone else reporting this, so I figure I must be doing something patently silly.

If I can get from Quicken to Skrooge my Windows to Linux conversion will be nearly complete, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: No Reconciliation Mode  Topic is solved

Hi,
To activate the "Reconciliation mode", you must use the "Switch information" button as you do BUT ....
... you must have one account selected in the "Show" menu (top left of the "Operation" page).
If "All" is selected, reconciliation can not be done because the reconciliation must be done on one account.

I hope this answer will facilitate your migration from Windows ;)

That was it, thanks.

I had the account selected in the edit panel, didn't realize there was another one under "Show", since I only have the one account.

I hope it's not too late to add my issue to this. I have the same problem, but even when I go to show and the account is there I cannot see the switch button.
Since this is such an old post, I may create another

I'm brand new, having just imported my accounts today.

Thanks for your help.
