Hi all,
since few weeks ago I am using Skrooge from my Linux box, but using a Windows 10 Laptop with XMing. it is a Lan environment so speed is great, there is no need of SSH redirection, nor firewall issues, etc. So, everything is working fine. But I have a problem. I cannot see a single icon on Skrooge. I was using version 2.4.0 and where the icons should be, there was an empty box. Now I am using 2.4.92 (2.5 beta) and on most cases, the icons simply aren't there. And at places where the icon is needed (for example to search), there is an empty box. I thought it was a problem with Xming, but the truth is that Skrooge is the only software with this issue. I am using many other ones and I can see icons for all of them. Any idea and any possible solution? Thanks Jesus M |

Hi,
Skrooge don't use a specific way/widget to display. It uses the standard components provided by KDE/Qt. Could you confirm that you don't have the same issue one of the following applications? - Kate - Digikam - Gwenview - Krita |

Ups, right. It seems that there is a problem with all KDE apps. I can see icons on apps not specifically for KDE. So I guess the fix should be for KDE and not for Skrooge itself. Anyway, any idea? Thanks |

Are you sure that icons packages are installed?
Search packages containing "breeze" or "oxygen" and install them. |

Since you asked me so specifically for those packages, I have reinstalled them and now everything is working well.
So I guess the packages were there but probably with something wrong. Thanks so much for pointing me to the right direction. Jesus M |
