Is there any option to save data for lower version of Skrooge? I am switching between two work stations (at home and at work) and want to have option to have work with both versions of skrooge, but problem is that newer version upgraded my .skg file without giving any option and I am not very happy with that. I look for option working with older .skg layout.
thnks. |

Hi,
There is no option to downgrade an .skg file. Just some questions: What are the 2 versions of Skrooge used? Why can not you use the same version of Skrooge? |

Very sad news
My personal PC uses Linux Mint KDE 18 and Skrooge is now 2.5 At work I have to use Linux Mint KDE 17.3 and Skrooge is 1.12 (or 1.2 not sure exactly) and I cannot share the same file among two PC Maybe there is bypass for example to convert to *.kmy file or .gif file without data loss? |

In fact, between the 2 versions of Skrooge some functionalities have been added. To avoid data corruption done by an old version of Skrooge not able to manage these new functionalities, Skrooge forbids to open an skg file modified by a newest version.
I don't know formats managing all Skrooge features. The best one is kmy but you can loose some data (example: properties on operations). |
