Having trouble with inconsistent date formats in Skrooge.
The date format is set in Settings -> Configure Skrooge -> General : Date Format Short Date The date format is correct in the account register entries but is European format in the transaction entry section at the bottom of the screen. Please see pic. How can the transaction entry date format be corrected so that it matches the date format chosen in Settings? Skrooge Version 2.5.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS KDE Frameworks 5.18.0 Qt 5.5.1 The xcb windowing system Thank you for your help! |

This is not possible because date can be entered like this:
"10" means the last 10, so 10 September 2016 "10/12" means the last 10 of december, so 10 december 2015. "10/12/2015" |

Thank you for the response. Let me explain further what is happening as I can't see the pic now.
Date shown in register entry is: "9/28/16" which means September 28, 2016. This is what I would expect for my locale (US). Date shown in transaction entry at the bottom of window: "28/09/2016" also meaning September 28, 2016. While I understand what it means, it is not consistent with the date format for my locale, and is not consistent with the date format shown in the register entry. I would like to be able to enter dates using the format as specified in my locale. Any ideas? |
