I'm using this PPA to get the latest Skrooge - https://launchpad.net/~s-mankowski/+arc ... u/beta-kf5

1) I've found an issue with Ubuntu 16.10 as it depends on "qtdeclarative5-controls-plugin" (which was a transitional package in Xenial), and instead I believe it should use "qml-module-qtquick-controls".

I manually modified the .deb and installed and it seems fine.


2) I've noticed that a lot of the icons are missing!

You must launch "systemsettings5" (KDE settings panel) and choose "Breeze" as default icon set.

Running that tool in Ubuntu gives no option to adjust icons - the panel is simply blank! So guess I'll have to play around with this myself and see. Of note is when I set all of Unity to use Breeze, they appear (but that's not something I want!)

Back to my other question:

Sorry for answering just now, but I needed to update my system on 16.10 to test the installation.

I launched this:

sudo apt-get install skrooge-kf5

And the result was:
