Hello everyone
I have an issue with Skooge. When I have to change the date of an operation my balance becomes false. If I hand the date good it is again just. My file contains 2600 lines and I use Skrooge under Kubuntu 16.10. In the dashboard my balance is always good. How to fix it. Many thanks for reading.

Hi,
Are you sure the option "Compute balances" is enabled in the section "Operation" of the settings? Regards. |

Bonjour,
Yes, the"compute balance" option is enabled, the square is blue. This occur when I select 10/15 operations and use "duplicate" feature. When I change the date of one or more operations the balance becomes wrong. Thanks for your support. |

Bonjour,
I tried to reproduce you issue with simple operations but without success. Just one question, are the duplicated operation split (ventillées)? If yes, could you check the dates of each suboperations? |

Hi !
No operation is splited, there are only standard operations. It is not too boring as long as the balance is right in the dashboard |

Anyway, I would like to understand if this is a bug and how I can correct it.
In your first post, I can see the issue but I need to do the assumption that the operations are ordered by date. Could you confirm that this is really the case? Else the behavior is normal because the balance is not computed by using the date of operations. |

Yes, I corfirm that operations are ordered by date. (Ascending order ) .

Could you provide me a simple sample file where you are able to reproduce the issue? (You can find my email in the "About" of Skrooge).
Thank you in advance for your help to improve Skrooge. |

Hello everyone
I have upgraded to version 2.21.1 and I encounter the same error again : the balance becomes false if I change the date of an operation. The operations are sorted by date and the option calculate the balance is checked in the configuration menu. However the final balance is correct. Is there anything to do to correct this? Thanks in advance Alain |
