Hi,
Wanted to check what the supported / preferred model is for stock accounts, specifically a brokerage account that can have multiple securities. e.g. Say I have an account, and I use it to buy 50 shares of GE, 25 of IBM and 10 of MSFT. Should I have 3 accounts in Skrooge, with each account defined as the stock for unit? Or should I have 1 account in USD and put all 3 purchases into it? To further complicate, there are fees and commissions in cash that I would also like to record if possible. Thanks, Chris |

You can do what you want. My recommendation is to create an account by bank managing your shares.
If you have 2 banks: - One managing the GE and IBM shares - One managing the MSFT then you should create 2 accounts. If the same bank manages all your shares, then create only one account. Fees and commissions are managed. |
