I cannot find a way to get proper tabular report like other softwares in the category provide.
skrooge does many things differently but some basic things it lacks like this.
Though I love skrooge this is a great hindrance.

e.g. Custom Report from Gnucash

Start of the Report :

Statement of Cash Deposited in A/C#**********4

From 21-04-2017 To 03-05-2017

Date Num Description Memo/Notes Amount

****************** Charges

22-04-2017 fybbi 600*10 Rs. 6,000.00
22-04-2017 fybms 600*16 Rs. 9,600.00

Total For ************** Charges Rs. 15,600.00

Transcript

21-04-2017 4644 Rs. 1,000.00
Total For Transcript Rs. 1,000.00

University Exam Fees

21-04-2017 3346/3347 mcom 500*2 Rs. 1,000.00
22-04-2017 3413/3414 mcom 100*2 Rs. 200.00

Total For University Exam Fees Rs. 1,200.00

Grand Total Rs. 17,800.00

End of report.

I could not find a way to format similar report in skrooge.
skrooge reports are basically like crosstab queries which force you to select column and row hence you cannot get detailed summary for a specific date/period.

Hi,

This can be done with "Monthly Report".
Here is the documentation:
https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragea ... eport.html

You can build your own report by using template.
To do that, you just have to enter a new report name + enter.
A text editor will be opened with a tutorial template.

If you like your template and would like to share it with others, we can publish it on store.kde.org
